This will be a non-sanctioned club event designed to encourage all riders including those new to showing to have a go.

The Level 1 (Green) events are walk and trot only, and you can ride two handed in any ‘safe’ saddle with snaffle bridle or hackamore. Level 2 (Intermediate) is for riders who wish to canter. You can use any ‘safe’ saddle, and ride two handed in a snaffle bit or hackamore, or one or two handed in a shank bit. Level 3 (Heritage snaffle) is for advanced competitors who must ride in a fender saddle and snaffle bit. Level 4 (Open Senior Horse, Open Junior Horse and Open Youth) is for advanced competitors who must ride in western saddle and one handed in shank bit for senior horses 6 yo and over. Junior horses can be ridden one or two handed in s snaffle or hackamore, or one handed in a shank bit.
All ridden horses must be 3 yo or over.
Lead-line classes ( riders less than 10yo) and a led Ranch Prospect Trail class will be available on the Sunday.

ALL competitors must wear western gear including:
• long sleeve shirt with collar
• western hat (the hat must be on the rider’s head when the exhibitor enters the arena) or
ASS approved safety helmet.
• western pants/jeans
• western boots.
Optional Attire: spurs, chinks, and chaps in ridden classes.

PROGRAM
Saturday 10th February be a practice show where competitors receive judge advice and feedback, and Sunday will be a ribbon show. (separate Nominate entries for each day)

Ranch Riding
Ranch Working Rail
Ranch Trail
Ranch Prospect Trail (not Saturday)
Ranch Pleasure
Ranch Confirmation
Ranch Reining
Ranch Boxing using the mechanical cow (no cattle)
