The clinic will cover dry/flat work, mechanical cow and cattle work, catering to all levels of horse/rider combinations in a safe environment – including riders/horses completely new to cattle work. Riding will start at 9am both days and finish at approximately 5pm, there will be plenty of opportunity for breaks.

The cost of the 2 day clinic is $450 per person. Full payment is required by 3 May – refunds may not apply if a replacement rider is not found. Cost includes morning tea & lunches, as well as camping.

Limited number of yards are available for an additional cost of $25/night, please advise early if you wish to book a yard. There is plenty of space to BYO yards beside your float (12V electric yards are fine).

Camping – There is plenty of space for camping/trucks/floats etc with water provided but no power at camp sites. Toilets & showers are available onsite. Dogs need to be tied up or on a lead at all times. When you drive into Richard’s place, continue straight ahead then down the hill adjacent to the paddocks (towards the u/c arena). There are water stations on the hillside camp area so feel free to set up camp wherever you like.

Meals – Morning tea and lunches are included in the cost. Please self cater for breakfast & dinners. There are BBQ, pizza oven and microwave are available for use. The Illabo pub also is also nearby for dinners and drinks.

Location – Braeside Jnr, 120 Eulomo Settlement Road, Illabo NSW. Approximately 3-3 1/2 hours from Canberra. Rough directions – head towards Illabo from Bethungra on A41 then turn right onto Old Sydney Rd. After the left hand bend, turn right onto Eulomo Settlement Rd and Richard’s place is about 200m on the right. Can’t miss it – it’s the place with all the horses and amazing u/c arena!
